Abstract:

Photographs and prints chiefly depict domestic interiors (presumably of San Francisco, Calif.) featuring the architectural sculpture of Theo. Binner Studios, espcially ornamental cast stone fireplace surrounds and mantels. Some photographs are reproduced in studio's catalog pages. 2 photographs depict Binner at studio. Also includes blueprint of a drawing of a garden fountain.

Eugene Theodore Binner was born in Breslau, Germany on Feb. 20, 1860. He came to San Francisco in 1889. (cf. Hughes, Artists in California.)
